
The Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company is bringing its reputation for premium quality, locally roasted coffee to the ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage market with the announcement of their new line of cold-brewed coffee in 12oz ready- to-drink cans.
Their ‘Nitro Brew’ (nitro) version features the same cold-steeped coffee as the ‘Cold Brew’ (still) version but packaged in an innovative ‘widget’ can that infuses the coffee with pressurized nitrogen upon opening.
The introduction of their new line-up of cold brew coffee packaged in 12oz cans expands upon the existing wholesale kegged Cold Brew offerings previously launched by The Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company. With these cans, The Great Lakes Coffee Roasting Company becomes one of the few specialty-coffee companies nationally to pioneer the use of advanced canning processes and widget technology to bring cafe-quality Cold Brew to the retail and RTD beverage market.
